Interview failed?

There are days when I just sloth away.

Attended a job interview this morning in Central Plaza. Interviews are nerve wrecking la. All was well. Even was called back for second interview straight after the first round. However, the manager in charge couldnt find time for the second interview and had to postpone it till next Monday. which i couldnt make it. oh dear. She’s so busy to the extend of not being able to spare an alternative time either earlier or later in the day, a different day in the week or even a different week.

In the end, the whole job application was called off. I guess its not meant to be. But its alright =) I’ll be attending another one on Monday. There’s still hope somehow.

Dad was telling me about my financial responsibilities to the family once i start earning my own money. Not easy. The amount I need to pitch in is not small too. Oh dear. Salary of RM 2 k working in KL, with transportation cost calculated in is somehow not enough to sustain the responsibilities i have. But I’m sure that God will provide somewhere some how. =)

Drained for the day. Didnt know that interviews were so exhausting.

Warmth

Preparation for Easter was not easy. I was down with fever the week before. And then there were the bad cramps days. all in all, with all the late night preparations, my body was stretched to the limit. way passed the limit. but i thank god for the in between warmth of people around me that somehow gave me the additional boost to continue pushing on and not giving up.

unexpected happenings to a hero.

just like the superman that fell from the horse and broke his back. does people still remember him as superman? maybe. but more will just remember him as the superman who broke his back. the downfall is remembered. not the heroic deeds.

human minds are skewed towards remembering negative feedbacks and negative stories.

i wish i could do something.
i wish i could prevent it.
i wish i could be there.
i wish someone did something.
i wish it never happened.
i wish there will not be any damage.

but its all too late.
the damage is done.
the image is tarnished.
the memories are scattered.
preventive measures.

destructive truth.

repetitive dreams.

life fulled with jokes even though its april fools day.

the irony is. the joke doesnt end there. it continues on. and it destroys.

26th =)

what to believe when everyone says one thing about a person but the person itself says another thing?

how much do i know to know which side to take or which side of the story is true?

what about when everyone else relates that particular situation to a whole different scenario?

how different is the scenario? is it just a stereotype? or am i the only one who thinks that others are stereotyping?

i dont know.

i dont know what to believe. what to do. what is my stand. i dont know. im shaken.
god has an interesting way of throwing us out course when we think that all is going well and smooth.

my direction is shaken. what i was so sure about. now its in disillusion.

questions are answered with 'no way'. why is answered with 'no'.

what is up next? i dont know. where does this lead me to? i dont know too. but what if it isnt what i thought for sure it would be?

ego and emo comes in?

i dont know. someone somehow talk to me? my thoughts are so unorganized.

conflicts exists as they are. resolving takes too much effort. thus making it left aside to erode into deeper conflict.

what else is there to do when all is said and done?

all that’s left is to look up to a higher power and authority and surrender.

U turn : A new life

After weeks and weeks of dedicated practices by the drama team. The final showdown is up.

COMING THIS MONDAY. 30TH MARCH. 6.30PM. UTAR SOUTH LOBBY.

Pray. Come. Enjoy.

Fresh prawns, Pasta and Steak

Me and dar wanted to go for prawn fishing in Mahkota Cheras. The last i heard, the price was RM 30 ++ for 3 hours given one rod and some prawn food. There are even lobsters in the tank where they put prawns in. Whatever caught belongs to you. They even provide barbeque pits and butter to BBQ the prawns. Apparently it taste awesome.

However, when we went there, the place was packed!!! maybe because it was a sunday afternoon. It was an interesting sight thought. there is an aquarium like tank build right in the middle of the shop, with people sitting along the sides to fish. Looked a little like a bar top with the aquarium as the center. haha. We stayed for a while to have a look. Not many people caught prawns. Those seasoned and skillful ones caught quite a number, averagely one prawn every 5 mins? That’s quite pro according what we observed.

In the end, we went to a Western restaurant just at the next row. Beautiful interior deco with the tables all set. The music played were samba-ish. Real romantic place. =)

Dar ordered tiger prawns with butter for us, a rib eye for himself, and a mushroom pasta for me.

Wet socks and shoes

Uni friends adds flavors to the memories of life. Just like how 2 years back, sherine, me, joel, kahfai and dihhaw had the brilliant idea to go to Balakong for KFC. All went well until it started pouring cats and dogs and we were without umbrellas!!

The 5 of us waited a whooping 1 and a half to 2 hours under the made shift container turned into fruit stall with barely half a foot of coverage on our heads. To make things worse, U41 rapid bus that we were suppose to took super duper long to arrive. The rain makes transportation turn into tortoise mode.

We waited and waited. squat. stand. squat. stand. haha. Thank god we somehow got home sometime much later in the night. =) Poor kahfai was already down with slight sore throat before the dinner trip, after that the fever attacked him right away. but we had fun ya =P

This which leads to another wet trip. 3 pairs of wet shoes and 1 pair of wet slippers that dried up in no time. Ever since shifting to a different condo, there is a distance to walk from my place to uni. Another 10 mins more of walk as compared to just crossing one road previously. During sunny days, its a joy. But like that day when it was raining. haha. its an experience again.

Me and sherine left 30 mins early to avoid the rain. but it didnt quite avail throughout. We were caught in the heavy downpour just one shoplot distance away from uni. haha.

As we reached church, my immediate reaction was to remove the soaking wet shoes and socks! brrrr. it was cold. But no fear, there was kah fai and wendy who joined the kaki ayam gang!

i dont understand how one event that is suppose to bring people together

is breaking friendships and pulling people further away from each other

Just Soya - Sungai Long

Some time back, I went to Just Soya in Sungai Long for a restaurant review.

18032009340

18032009344 18032009343

Its a Soya concept restaurant where almost everything served contains Soya.

18032009326

Range of soya drinks

18032009332

Ocha Soya Curd (green tea tau fu fa)

18032009335

Satay beef with soy rice & ham and egg soy omelette

Overall rating :

Food : 6.5/10

(the concept is interesting but some dishes still has to improve on the taste, either on the bland side or a little heavy with seasoning)

Ambience : 8/10

(beautiful set up, very comfortable feeling. The only downside is, when we were there, a rubbish truck happened to park outside, the stench blew our heads off way till the restaurant worker sprayed Lysol. Pooh)

Service : 5/10

(Some food were not available. the funniest part was the worker was sleeping on the table when we first arrived. we even had enough time to snap a close up shot of her leaning on the table sleeping face.)

Price : Around RM 6 – RM 10 per person inclusive of a meal and drinks.

Recommended?

Yup. Especially for health freaks. After all, its a healthy shop at a reasonable price. 5 of us with 5 main dishes and drinks cost RM 40++ in total. Worth a try. Something different

blaarrggh.

There’s the flu bug again. Oh dear. Somehow the flu bug likes me a lot. Sniff sniff. The interesting part of flu and me is that, 3 sneezes are normal. but many rounds of 3 sneezes shows that the flu bug is back. more than 3 sneezes also shows that the flu bug is happily having the victory. oh dear. I call myself my own doctor. =P

Freeze Up One Level?

Now THIS is way cool man! Its just like freeze but instead of standing and posing. its a couple of dance routine put together.

Doesn’t it just give you the feeling of wanting to jump in and join the fun? SO HAPPENING la.

Reversal?

For many people, tertiary education is to find their leadership qualities.

Somehow for me, university life has taught me how to take a step back. Be less controlling. And let others lead sometimes too.

Just so the opposite. I became tamer if i can say so.
