I'll be seeking a second opinion from SGH. Got some first hand advice from a cousin who did the same op many years back. Its not going to be easy. partial immobilisation for about 2 months, to fully recover, it takes up to 2 years. With minimal or no steps, no vigorous exercise.
I need to learn basic stuff like how to turn around lying down, how to get up. Back muscles will be as good as none after the operation.
Good to hear more about what i'll be going through. At least it gives better mental preparation.
