Me and dar wanted to go for prawn fishing in Mahkota Cheras. The last i heard, the price was RM 30 ++ for 3 hours given one rod and some prawn food. There are even lobsters in the tank where they put prawns in. Whatever caught belongs to you. They even provide barbeque pits and butter to BBQ the prawns. Apparently it taste awesome.
However, when we went there, the place was packed!!! maybe because it was a sunday afternoon. It was an interesting sight thought. there is an aquarium like tank build right in the middle of the shop, with people sitting along the sides to fish. Looked a little like a bar top with the aquarium as the center. haha. We stayed for a while to have a look. Not many people caught prawns. Those seasoned and skillful ones caught quite a number, averagely one prawn every 5 mins? That’s quite pro according what we observed.
In the end, we went to a Western restaurant just at the next row. Beautiful interior deco with the tables all set. The music played were samba-ish. Real romantic place. =)
Dar ordered tiger prawns with butter for us, a rib eye for himself, and a mushroom pasta for me.
