Wet socks and shoes

Uni friends adds flavors to the memories of life. Just like how 2 years back, sherine, me, joel, kahfai and dihhaw had the brilliant idea to go to Balakong for KFC. All went well until it started pouring cats and dogs and we were without umbrellas!!

The 5 of us waited a whooping 1 and a half to 2 hours under the made shift container turned into fruit stall with barely half a foot of coverage on our heads. To make things worse, U41 rapid bus that we were suppose to took super duper long to arrive. The rain makes transportation turn into tortoise mode.

We waited and waited. squat. stand. squat. stand. haha. Thank god we somehow got home sometime much later in the night. =) Poor kahfai was already down with slight sore throat before the dinner trip, after that the fever attacked him right away. but we had fun ya =P

This which leads to another wet trip. 3 pairs of wet shoes and 1 pair of wet slippers that dried up in no time. Ever since shifting to a different condo, there is a distance to walk from my place to uni. Another 10 mins more of walk as compared to just crossing one road previously. During sunny days, its a joy. But like that day when it was raining. haha. its an experience again.

Me and sherine left 30 mins early to avoid the rain. but it didnt quite avail throughout. We were caught in the heavy downpour just one shoplot distance away from uni. haha.

As we reached church, my immediate reaction was to remove the soaking wet shoes and socks! brrrr. it was cold. But no fear, there was kah fai and wendy who joined the kaki ayam gang!
